The Federal Court of Canada has issued a landmark ruling that requires the country's leading internet service providers, including Rogers and Quebecor, to block access to a list of piracy streaming platforms.
This two-year site-blocking order is aimed at combating online piracy and protecting the rights of content creators and studios.
Additionally, the ruling provides rights holders with a streamlined process to add new piracy sites to the blocking list, enhancing their ability to safeguard their intellectual property.
