Spain is currently battling two major wildfires that have resulted in significant destruction. The La Mierla wildfire has scorched nearly 9,900 hectares and has necessitated the evacuation of 16 villages in central Spain.
In addition, another fire near Orés in northeastern Spain has burned approximately 15,400 hectares. These incidents have contributed to a total wildfire toll in the country nearing 50,000 hectares.
