In a move to modernize its passport services, Pakistan will begin issuing e-passports to its citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from July 20, 2026.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the experience of overseas Pakistanis and streamline the passport application process.
The announcement was made through a public notice, which outlined the details of the new e-passport system aimed at facilitating easier travel for Pakistani citizens abroad.
