New York City is rolling out bus priority schemes in the Bronx and Brooklyn, aimed at significantly improving the daily commute for approximately 200,000 residents.
These initiatives are designed to cut journey times and enhance road safety, making public transport a more attractive option for commuters.
In addition to immediate benefits, these measures are also intended to lay the groundwork for future expansions of bus rapid transit systems throughout the city.
