NASA has officially named Sean Gallagher as the agency's chief information officer, effective June 23, 2026.
In his new role, Gallagher will be responsible for managing NASA's comprehensive portfolio of Information Technology products and services.
Gallagher has experience in this position, having previously served in an acting capacity, which may aid in his transition to the permanent role.
