Following a knife attack linked to a Sudanese refugee, protests erupted in Belfast, leading to demonstrators blocking roads and setting vehicles ablaze.

The 30-year-old suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

In response to the incident and the ensuing unrest, the Police Service of Northern Ireland has increased its presence in the area.
