The World Health Organization has called for increased community cooperation to effectively manage the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This appeal comes following protests in Ituri province concerning the protocols for handling the bodies of victims, which have raised concerns among local populations.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO Director-General, highlighted that addressing the outbreak is a collective responsibility that requires the involvement of all community members.
