The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has announced a series of new regulations for the World Cup, set to take effect in the upcoming tournament.
Among the changes are expanded powers for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), intended to improve decision-making during matches.
Additionally, teams will now be allowed to make substitutions within a 10-second window, aimed at speeding up the pace of play, while new rules will also restrict the use of tactical timeouts.
