The Lebanese president has expressed a determination to achieve peace in the face of ongoing military actions between Lebanon and Israel. This commitment comes as the conflict shows no signs of abating.

According to the Lebanese health ministry, the death toll from Israeli strikes has reached 3,020, with a significant number of casualties being civilians, including 211 individuals under the age of 18 and 116 healthcare workers.

Efforts to establish a ceasefire are reportedly being undermined by continued hostilities, raising concerns about the humanitarian situation and the urgent need for resolution.
