Recent developments indicate that the feared gas shock at the onset of the Iran conflict has not materialized. Gas prices are currently below the levels seen in 2022.

This stability in pricing can be attributed, in part, to the arrival of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20.

Concerns regarding potential disruptions in gas supply have not come to fruition, allowing for a more stable energy market amid geopolitical tensions.
